The first weed control treatment of 2023 was on June 12th. This treatment targeted invasive species Curly Leaf Pondweed in the open water, nuisance weed and algae control along the developed shoreline, and muck buster (on June 30) in the canal, northeast and southeast shoreline tips of the lake.
The second treatment was on July 18. It included nuisance weed and algae control along the developed shoreline, and muck buster in the canal, northeast and southeast shoreline tips of the lake. This was similar to the June treatment with the exception that open water invasive species were not included.
